Most companies that talk to us ask about volume discounts early on. That makes sense – prices scale considerably once a minimum volume is reached. At the same time, many companies underestimate their actual form volume.
How the pricing tiers work
List price for AI analysis is €0.10 per page, with human verification at €0.30 per page. From a volume of 10,000 pages we negotiate individual rates. In practice these are 15–30% below list prices – depending on volume, form type, and whether it's an ongoing contract or a one-off project.

How to estimate your volume realistically
Many companies think too narrowly when estimating their form volume. Helpful questions for a complete picture:
- How many forms do you receive per month? (× 12 = annual volume)
- Do you have a backlog that still needs to be digitized?
- Are forms multi-page? (each page counts separately)
- Are you planning new processes that will start paper-based?
- Are there seasonal peaks that skew the annual volume?
Ongoing contract or one-off project?
For ongoing contracts – monthly recurring volume – we offer more favourable rates than for one-off projects, because predictability is better for both sides. For archive projects (one-off processing of large backlogs) we calculate separately.
When does a pilot project make sense?
If you're unsure whether formalogix is suitable for your specific forms – for example because of unusual layouts, very old documents or special data structures – we recommend a pilot project with 100–500 forms at standard rates. This lets you assess quality and integration effort before committing to a larger volume.

You choose 100–500 representative forms from your stock – ideally a mix of straightforward and more complex examples.
Quote & DPA
You receive a quote at standard rates along with the Data Processing Agreement. After your approval we start within two business days.
Processing & output
We process the pilot forms and deliver the structured data in your agreed format – typically within 3–5 business days.
Review & decision
You check the output and decide whether to proceed with the full project. We answer any questions and adjust parameters if needed.
What affects pricing beyond volume
Volume is the strongest lever for better rates – but not the only one. Forms with heavy handwriting and complex layouts require more verification effort than simple printed checklists. Output format also affects price: a straightforward CSV export costs less than a direct API integration into your ERP system.
